SVBLA Awards Scholarships and Bursaries to 14 Students

The St. Vincent Building & Loan Association (SVBLA) is continuing its commitment to education and youth development by supporting 14 students for the 2026/2027 academic year through its scholarship and bursary programme.

The awards were presented during a special ceremony at the Association’s headquarters in Kingstown, held under the inspiring theme, “Potential is not enough: Build it, own your story.”

This year’s recipients include three first-time scholarship awardees and 11 bursary recipients, providing valuable support as the students continue their educational journeys.

The three scholarship recipients are Akili Neverson, Bryce Dalzine and Jesiah Gibson, all of whom will attend the St. Vincent Grammar School. Neverson was unable to attend the presentation ceremony.

Through initiatives such as its scholarship and bursary programme, SVBLA continues to invest in young Vincentians and encourage students to make the most of the opportunities available to them.

The Association congratulates all 14 recipients and wishes them continued success throughout the 2026/2027 academic year.
